Lars Gustav Danielsson, born Jan 12, 1975, in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, is a director and cinematographer. He studied Architecture at Chalmers and Film directing at IHTV in Gothenburg. His work as cinematographer includes Roy Andersson's most recent, award winning feature film "Du levande / You, the living" (2007). Gustav Danielsson's short documentary "Porträtt av en motvillig herre/ Portrait of a Reluctant Gentleman" (2008) received a lot of attention for it's experimental and visual style. "Tvillingen/ The Twin" (2011) was his short feature film debut. It premiered internationally at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, where it won the Busan Cinephile Award. "Djur jag dödade förra sommaren/ Animals I Killed Last Summer" was shoot in July 2012 and premiered at the Stockholm International Filmfestivals international competition. It's international premier was at the Berlinale, February 2013. Gustav Danielsson acted as director of cinematography for "The Gamechangers" and "Kill your Friends" two Brittish feature productions released in 2015.- Sture Djerf was born on 5 September 1920 in Örnsköldsvik, Västernorrlands län, Sweden. Carl-Axel Elfving was born on 12 January 1920 in Örnsköldsvik, Västernorrlands län, Sweden. He was an actor, known for I rök och dans (1954), 47:an Löken (1971) and 47:an Löken blåser på! (1972). He died on 12 January 1988 in Enskede, Stockholm, Stockholms län, Sweden.- Oscar was born and raised in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, until he decided to break free from his heritage of optometry and moved to New York, to attend The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institutes 2 year certificate program. - Peter Forsberg is a Swedish retired professional ice hockey player and was assistant general manager of Modo Hockey. Known for his on-ice vision and physical play, Forsberg is considered one of the greatest players of all time. Although his career was shortened by persistent injuries, as of 2014, he stands ninth all-time in career points-per-game and fifth all-time in career assists-per-game in the NHL. In 2017 Forsberg was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.
His 19-year professional career includes 13 years in the National Hockey League (NHL), where he won two Stanley Cups with the Colorado Avalanche, as well as several individual honors including the Hart Memorial Trophy in 2003. As of the end of the 2017-18 season, he is the seventh-highest all-time Swedish point scorer in the NHL regular season. Before his short-lived comeback season in 2011, Forsberg never had a negative plus-minus rating, giving him an overall career rating of +238.
Representing Sweden in international play, Forsberg competed in four Winter Olympics, two World Cups and five World Championships, as well as one European Junior Championship and two World Junior Championships, where he holds a scoring record of 31 points in seven games that some say may never be broken. He won four gold medals with Sweden in his career, winning titles at the 1992 and 1998 World Championships and the 1994 and 2006 Winter Olympics. Combined with his two Stanley Cup championships in NHL play, he is a member of the Triple Gold Club and the only Swede who has won each of the three competitions twice. - Daniel Sedin is a Swedish former professional ice hockey winger who played 18 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Vancouver Canucks, from 2000-2018. Born and raised in Örnsköldsvik, Sweden, Daniel and his identical twin brother Henrik played together throughout their careers; the pair were renowned for their effectiveness as a tandem. During his career, Daniel was known as a goal-scorer (150+ more career NHL goals than Henrik), while Henrik was known as a playmaker (150+ more career NHL assists than Daniel). Daniel tallied 393 goals and 648 assists in 1,306 games played in the NHL, ranking him as the Canucks' second-highest points scorer all time.
Daniel began his professional career in the Swedish Hockey League with Modo Hockey in 1997 and was co-recipient, with Henrik, of the 1999 Golden Puck as Swedish player of the year. He played four seasons with Modo (including a return in 2004-05 due to the NHL lockout), helping the club to two consecutive appearances in the Le Mat Trophy Finals, in 1999 and 2000, where they lost both times. Selected second overall by the Canucks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Daniel moved to the NHL in the 2000-01 season. He spent his entire NHL career in Vancouver, and in 2016 became the club's all-time top goal scorer. After emerging as a top player in the club during the 2005-06 season, Daniel since recorded six consecutive campaigns of at least 20 goals and 70 points. In 2011, he won the Art Ross Trophy as the League's leading point-scorer and the Ted Lindsay Award as the best player in the League, as voted by fellow players. Daniel was nominated for the Hart Memorial Trophy as the League's most valuable player. In Sweden, he and Henrik were awarded the Victoria Scholarship as the country's athletes of the year.
Internationally, Daniel has competed on the Swedish national ice hockey team. In addition to being a three-time Winter Olympian, he has appeared in two European Junior Championships, two World Junior Championships and four World Championships. He won gold medals at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin and 2013 IIHF World Championship in Stockholm. Henrik, a skilled passer, was known as a playmaker (150+ more career NHL assists than Daniel) while Daniel was known as a goal-scorer (150+ more career NHL goals than Henrik). Henrik tallied 240 goals and 830 assists in 1,330 NHL games, ranking him as the Canucks' all-time leading points scorer.
Henrik began his career in the Swedish Hockey League with Modo Hockey in 1997 and was co-recipient, with Daniel, of the 1999 Golden Puck as Swedish player of the year. Selected third overall, one pick after his brother Daniel, by the Canucks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Henrik spent his entire NHL career in Vancouver. McLean Trophies as the team's leading point-scorer (from 2007-08 to 2009-10) and one Cyclone Taylor Award as the team's most valuable player (2010). In 2009-10, he won the Hart Memorial Trophy as well as the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player and leading point-scorer, respectively. He was named to the NHL First All-Star Team that year and again in 2010-11, a season that included an appearance in the Stanley Cup Finals, where Vancouver lost to the Boston Bruins in seven games. That summer, Henrik and Daniel were named co-recipients of the Victoria Scholarship as Swedish athletes of the year.
Internationally, Henrik has competed on Sweden's national ice hockey team. He is a two-time Olympian and helped Sweden to a gold medal at the 2006 Winter Games in Turin.
